What's your favorite prayer?
The Our Father: "Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen."
What's your favorite thing you've read during your studies?
Hard to choose, but either Athanasius' De Incarnatione Verbi Dei or Beginning to Read the Fathers by Boniface Ramsey, OP. The latter is an especially good pick for anyone who wants to know the Fathers better but has no clue where to begin.
If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
Cave fratrem
What is a food combination people eat that you just can’t get behind?
I've never liked Hawaiian pizza. It's less the pineapple and more the ham that gets me.
TIPS FROM BR. AMBROSE:
What's a tip you have for young men discerning priesthood/religious life?
Pray every day, and trust that God will guide the process in due time. Make efforts to meet orders and vocations directors, but remember that it isn't a college or job search.
What's something you wish you knew earlier about discernment?
Silent prayer is key, even just a few minutes every day.
