TAKE A MOMENT TO
MEET
BR. ISAAC!

What's your favorite prayer?

My favorite prayer is the rosary. I really like to use it as a way to enter deeper into mental prayer.

If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would you pick?

1. St. Thomas Aquinas

2. St. Catherine of Siena

3. St. Peter

4. St. Paul

I think I would be a bit left out because these 4 individuals seem to know each other very well through apparitions.

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

"Warning: Disregard 50% of what he says."

If you had to eat a crayon, which color would you choose and why?

I think I would choose red because I like the taste of the color red.

TIPS FROM BR. ISAAC:

What's a tip you have for young men discerning priesthood/religious life?

I would advise being open to hear the call of God wherever it might lead you. As a young man discerning I believe that there is a big temptation to box yourself into a category. I propose that men who are discerning give themselves utmost freedom to decide with God what path they are called to follow.

Any words of encouragement?

Something that is very helpful to know about discernment is that God will fill you with joy in your vocation. He will not force you into a place where you will be terribly unhappy, and He will give you the grace to overcome any challenges. We know this intellectually but it is always good to remember and believe that we are completely free to choose God’s will. This is a great consolation as sometimes we see a vocation to the priesthood or religious life as giving up on many things when in reality we gain so much more. I haven't been happier in my life as I am now and I believe that this is the normal outcome of following ones vocation.
